The Registry Department
The Registry Department serves as the administrative secretariat and central coordination hub of Osun State University. It supports institutional governance, policy implementation and administrative management across the University.
The Registry is headed by the Registrar who reports directly to the Vice-Chancellor and oversees the day-to-day administration of the University, ensuring efficient implementation of institutional policies and regulatory procedures.
For effective service delivery, the Registry is structured into several functional units including the Registrar’s Main Office, Council Affairs Unit, Personnel Affairs Unit and Academic Affairs Unit.
Governance Administration
The Registry coordinates governance processes including the administration of University Council, Senate and key institutional committees responsible for strategic decision making.
Human Resource Administration
Through the Personnel Affairs Unit, the Registry manages recruitment, promotion, discipline and personnel administration for academic and non-academic staff.
Academic Administration
The Academic Affairs Unit oversees student admissions, examinations, Senate administration and management of academic records.

Registrar’s Main Office
The Registrar’s Office coordinates the activities of all administrative units within the Registry and supports the development and implementation of institutional policies.
Council Affairs Unit
The Council Affairs Unit manages matters relating to the University Council which oversees governance, finance and property of the institution.

Personnel Affairs Unit
The Personnel Affairs Unit manages staff administration and human resource processes across the University.

- Promotion and career progression
- Staff discipline and compliance
- Entry and exit management for all staff categories
The Unit operates through three sub-units:
- Academic Staff Sub-Unit
- Administrative & Technical Staff Sub-Unit
- Junior Staff Sub-Unit
Academic Affairs Unit
The Academic Affairs Unit administers the academic processes of the University including Senate administration, admissions and examinations.
